Political Wire - While the nation’s fierce polarization has set many political preferences in stone, 1 in 4 registered voters (24%) say they might change their minds ahead of November’s election, and 12% haven’t made a choice yet.

NBC News - Kristi Noem suggested that President Joe Biden’s dog Commander should meet a similar fate as her dog Cricket, whom the South Dakota governor reportedly described shooting and killing in her coming book.

NPR -  The U.S. House of Representatives could vote this week on a bill that would require counting and excluding non-citizens from the 2030 census. The decennial count determines each state's share of House representatives and electoral college votes. The bill is among at least a dozen measures filed by Republican lawmakers as they push for an unprecedented change to the country's election maps.
