Newsweek - Home prices hit the highest point since Redfin began tracking the data nearly a decade ago, the real estate platform revealed, contributing to a plunging of demand from buyers. The median U.S. home sale price rose 4 percent to nearly $388,000 for the four weeks ending May 19, according to Redfin. Meanwhile, the median asking price was $420,000, also an all-time high.
