How a Republican president could ban most abortions

The next Republican president could effectively ban most abortions through a simple policy change at the Justice Department, experts and advocates on both sides of the abortion debate tell Axios' Caitlin Owens. Republicans disagree about whether to pursue a national abortion ban, which would face long odds in Congress. The Comstock Laws "criminalized any use of the U.S. Postal Service to send any of the following items: obscenity, contraceptives, abortifacients, sex toys, personal letters with any sexual content or information, or any information regarding the above items." Per Wiktionary.

But, that shouldn't prevent the "sending" or "transporting" of those specific item by other means of delivery.
