Former US president Donald Trump attacked "liberal Jews who voted to destroy America and Israel" in a Rosh Hashanah greeting sent on his social media website Truth Social early on Monday morning. Trump, who beat US President Joe Biden in a new 2024 presidential election poll on Monday, published a list of his Israeli-related accomplishments during his tenure at the White House.
This week Sen. Mitt Romney, Republican of Utah, announced that he
would not seek reelection, and the mainstream media focused on his
statement that he would be 85 by the end of another 6-year term. That
caused a natural pivot to whether Joe Biden and Donald Trump are too old
to run in 2024. But that’s not the real or only reason he’s quitting. Since
criticizing Donald Trump, Romney and his family have been targeted by
the armed and dangerous MAGA followers such that he is paying $5,000 per
day for added security.
