Axios - Companies are posting fewer job listings — especially for white-collar roles in software, human resources, banking and finance, Axios' Emily Peck writes from new Indeed data. White-collar employers are feeling pessimistic about the future, Nick Bunker, Indeed Hiring Lab's economic research director for North America, tells Axios. By the numbers: Software development job listings saw the steepest drop, falling 55.4% in early April from the same time last year. Human resources listings were down 44.5%, banking and finance roles fell 41%, and insurance postings dropped 18.5%.
