I was given to understand that some of the "generals" were thinking of dropping the bomb down Mt. Fuji, a/the Japanese national symbol - glad wiser counsels prevailed...
Dropping the bomb at all was a giant human rights abuse and a crime against the people and the planet. There is no acceptable place to drop the bomb. Only evil people drop the bomb. Those generals were twice over evil by knowing the war was over, but dropping the bomb anyway. "Wiser counsels" were not involved or else the bomb would not have been dropped at all.
