Two thirds of Americans want president subject to criminal charges

US News -More than two-thirds of American voters believe that a sitting president should be subject to criminal charges. According to a new Quinnipiac University poll, 69% of voters think any sitting president should face criminal charges while 24% say a president should be charged after they leave office.

More than half of voters believe President Donald Trump committed crimes before he took office, while 26% don't think he did. However, voters are split over whether Trump committed crimes while in office, 45% to 45%. Fifty-five percent of Americans believe special counsel Robert Meuller's report did not clear Trump of crimes
