Trump's immigrant policy will cut health facility jobs for thousands of Haitians

Temporary Protected Status was designed as a short-term shield from danger in home countries, but in practice many Haitians built stable lives and steady careers under it. A Supreme Court ruling cleared the way for the termination, and the Department of Homeland Security set hard deadlines when their Employment Authorization Documents expire, turning long-time legal workers into people at risk of arrest or deportation almost overnight.
