AP -   About half of all Americans say the cost of groceries is a “major” source of stress in their life right now, while 33% say it’s a “minor” source of stress, according to the poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. Only 14% say it’s not a source of stress, underscoring the pervasive anxiety most Americans continue to feel about the cost of everyday essentials 

Newsweek -  President Donald Trump's net favorability rating is even among American voters, according to the latest Issues & Insights/TIPP Poll. The survey found that 45 percent of voters view Trump favorably, while another 45 percent view him unfavorably. Six percent said they were not familiar enough to say and another four percent said they were not sure.

 Axios - More Americans identify as Democrats than Republicans for the first time since early 2024, according to new Gallup polling. It's an early sign that Democrats could come back from dismal favorability numbers ahead of the midterm elections next year.The Democratic Party has never been less popular. The shifts this year are primarily among political independents — "whose temporary loyalties could easily change," Gallup notes. More
