NBC News - A federal appeals court has temporarily paused rulings by a panel of trade court judges that halted several of President Donald Trump's tariffs on international trading partners "until further notice."
The ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit came after the Trump administration challenged a Wednesday judgement from the U.S. Court of International Trade, which found that a decades-old law the president cited in many of his tariff-related executive orders were invalid. Among the tariffs affected were a 10% universal baseline tariff, 20% duties on Chinese goods over its alleged failures to combat fentanyl trafficking and more.

NPR - Harvard University can continue enrolling international students after a judge issued a preliminary injunction yesterday. For now, the Trump administration's efforts to revoke the university’s ability to enroll students on international visas have been halted. The federal judge, Allison D. Burroughs, voiced concerns that the government was attempting to prevent foreign students from enrolling despite her earlier order blocking the administration’s planned actions. The White House told NPR that the Trump administration should decide if universities can issue student visas, not judges.
