Occupy Democrats - Pope Francis enrages MAGA fans and right-wingers around the world as the Catholic Church announces that priesthood applicants in Italy are now allowed to be gay — so long as they practice celibacy like heterosexual priests. This pope is on a historic streak... The New York Times reports that these new guidelines will not alter the Catholic Church's fundamental teachings on homosexuality. Even so, this is a major step in the right direction for inclusivity. Under these new rules, sexual orientation will not automatically block an applicant from becoming a priest. So far, the changes will only affect Italy.
