Washington Post - Catastrophic flooding killed at least seven people in Europe.   'Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia have been hit by flooding or heavy snow since Friday.  The extreme storm led to rescue operations and raised fears of contaminated water. The severe weather is expected to continue this week
CNN -  Shanghai was brought to a standstill today by what China says is the city's strongest storm in seven decades. Typhoon Bebinca made landfall in a suburb southeast of the metropolis with wind speeds of 80 mph, the equivalent of a Category 1 Atlantic hurricane.
