MTN -In yet another escalation of his long-running war with the press, Donald Trump called into Fox & Friends the morning after his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris and threatened to have ABC’s broadcast license pulled. Trump was furious after the network fact-checked several of his false claims during the debate, like when Trump spread debunked conspiracy theories about immigrants eating people's dogs. “They ought to take away their license for the way they did that,” Trump fumed, referencing ABC’s corrections during the 105-minute debate, which he repeatedly claimed was rigged in favor of Harris. “The press is so dishonest in this country. It’s amazing,” he added, clearly angered by what he saw as one-sided treatment.
NPR - Media & Technology Group, the parent company of Trump’s Truth Social network, plunged more than 16% to a record low. Investors broadly appear to think the vice president improved her chances of a November victory, according to several closely-watched stock market indicators.
