Metropolitan Washington AFL-CIO -  No president has been more invested in expanding the labor movement and empowering workers than President Joe Biden. The AFL-CIO executive committee welcomed President Biden back to the House of Labor earlier today, and national leaders reiterated their strong solidarity with the Biden-Harris ticket.“You’ve alw ays had our back — we have your back,” AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler said to the president. "President Joe Biden has always stood with AFGE members and all working Americans," AFGE President Everett Kelley said on social media. "He's done an incredible job for working people in his first four years. That's why we're standing with him today and through the end of his second term in 2028."
