Trump

Alexander Hamilton - "The President of the United States would be liable to be impeached, tried, and upon conviction of treason, bribery, or other high crime or misdemeanors, removed from office; and would afterwards be liable to prosecution and punishment in the ordinary course of law."

Newsweek - Donald Trump lawyer has said that an alleged fake elector scheme was an "official act" and so should be immune from prosecution in Trump's federal election interference case. Speaking to CNN's Kaitlan Collins on Monday night, Will Scharf, an attorney for the former president, laid out the next steps for special counsel Jack Smith's case following the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that former presidents have absolute immunity for their official acts but no immunity for private acts.

Seth Abramson - If you were wondering how broadly Donald Trump interprets the immunity just granted to him by a Supreme Court he disproportionately appointed, wonder no more: he now claims the ruling makes *paying off his mistress* an Official Presidential Act.

Politicususa -  Buried in a story about Biden contained one paragraph that noted Trump’s mental decline and lack of transparency on his medical records. The New York Times buried this small but important paragraph in their story:

Mr. Trump, 78, has also shown signs of slipping over the years since he was first elected to the White House. He often confuses names and details and makes statements that are incoherent. He maintains a lighter public schedule than Mr. Biden, does not exercise and repeatedly appeared to fall asleep in the middle of his recent hush money trial. His campaign has released only a three-paragraph health summary. Voters have expressed concern about his age as well, but not to the same degree as Mr. Biden’s.

Trump maintains a lighter schedule than Biden, but yet, the current president is the one who the media is freaking out about. The nation is still waiting for Donald Trump to participate in an interview with one of the major networks beyond the taped interview he did with Kristen Welker on Meet The Press. The media also seems to ignore that Trump holds many events that he calls press conferences where he doesn’t take any questions. Biden is scheduled to hold a press conference next week.

Raw Story -  Stormy Daniels is ducking nonstop death threats and facing financial ruin ever since she testified in Donald Trump's hush money case.  Daniels spoke with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow in an interview that aired Tuesday night, detailing harassment and dire financial struggles she faces due to the case. It was her first TV interview since the former president became a convicted felon on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in his historic hush money trial. "The biggest thing is that they're not hiding like they used to," she said, referring to those wishing to harm her and her family."There's, you know, Facebook threads from people in my own community [who say] they plan to do things to my house and my family."

For six years, Daniels said she has tried to keep her wits while regularly fielding graphic missives saying things like, "they are going to rape everybody in my family including my young daughter before they kill them."

Daniels was brought to Lower Manhattan criminal court where she recounted under oath a tryst with Trump in 2006 at a Lake Tahoe hotel during a golf tournament. The former president stood accused of fudging a six-figure sum to Daniels to buy her silence weeks before the 2016 election.
