Workers update

57% of workers are making more money now after adjusting for inflation — than they were a year ago, the Center for American Progress found.  41% of us have seen a real wage increase of more than 5%.

January through November 2023 saw the start of 30 major work stoppages – the most of any year since 2000, according to federal data. This included the nearly four-month-long SAG-AFTRA strike, which involved 160,000 workers and was the second-largest work stoppage since 1993. 

Majorities of adults see decline of union membership as bad for the U.S. and working people

And all we see are lies about how much worse off Americans are. The republicans lie about everything.
