Messenger - Luxury homeowners are deciding maybe they don’t need that Hamptons house or Colorado cabin after all, some of those purchased during the pandemic real estate frenzy. Of the more than 900 millionaire clients surveyed by real estate brokerage Coldwell Banker, 79% said that they plan to sell a home in the next 12 months, according to a breakdown of data provided to The Messenger. “We are shifting out of neutral,” said Michael Altneu, the vice president of global luxury at Coldwell Banker. “There are a lot of people who were on the sidelines [of selling] who are now ready to jump in.”
