Axios - In a victory for abortion rights, Ohio voters decisively rejected (by 14 points: 57% to 43% in late returns) a GOP-backed ballot measure that sought to make it tougher to amend the state constitution.The results set up a fall fight over a constitutional amendment that will become the nation's latest referendum on abortion rights since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year. Ohio's Issue 1 would have raised the passage threshold for future constitutional amendments from a simple majority to a 60% supermajority, Axios Columbus' Tyler Buchanan reports.
