Federal prosecutors have obtained an audio recording of a 2021 meeting in which former President Trump acknowledges he held onto a classified Pentagon document about a possible attack on Iran, CNN reports. The recording — made at Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, N.J. — indicates he understood he took classified papers from the White House. That undercuts his claims he had declassified them.
