Both the number and share of new college graduates with a bachelor’s degree in education have decreased over the last few decades – even as the overall number and share of Americans with a college degree have increased.

The US population aged 30-34 is about 23.1MM.
The US population aged 0-4 is about 18.8MM.
That's a decrease of nearly 19%; and the actual decrease would be somewhat greater, as I'm not taking into account the people who died in the older group up to the age of 30-34.
