If the price of gads anywhere included the costs of the damage that carbon pollution is doing to our communities and our planet the price would be much higher.

Actually this is a poster that points to Biden being responsible for high gas prices, even thought he is not completely responsible.

The main reason all these other countries have such high and varying gas prices is tax. Politician are responsible for taxation system. Look at Norway which is completely self sufficient in oil from the North Sea and the price is $2.26 higher than France which very little oil.

This is a stupid poster by someone who doesn't understand how oil works.
Or is it pure propaganda by someone who does understand how oil works but is trying to use prices for the wrong purpose and pull on the heart strings to move blame from Biden.
Or a person who is just being lazy and not willing to do the right homework.

If one wants to move blame to where it is due, the poster should show the tax each of these countries is charging and then show that US Federal gas tax is only $0.184 per gallon.
And then they should show oil production in varying countries over time, and demand for oil, and something about how Trump walked away from the Iran deal (but that's Biden's problem by now) and how Venezuela's oil industry has been destroyed by US sanctions (also Biden's responsibility by now--it's okay to do deals with the Saudi monarchy fascist; but not good to be doing deals with South American socialists).

So part of this is Biden's fault. He can help increase supply with by dealing with Iran and Venezuela. And he can decrease demand by pushing a green agenda. And now would be a perfect time for Biden to get that part of his agenda passed which involves subsidies for electric cars (EVs). Of course, GOP are probably looking to ride high prices to a November victory.

And of course if Biden didn't go around dissing Tesla and actually recognizing it as the US and world leader in the manufacture of EVs, that might show some actual knowledge on the subject.
