Just a suggestion

 Sam Smith - Given that our media is enthralled by what is happening in Washington and not much else, this poses a problem for those in average America, made up of states and towns. One idea to modify this imbalance: have governors and mayors meet several times a year in Washington to discuss their issues and concerns, question cabinet members at televised seminars, and leave an agenda that even the Washington press could understand. After all, if it happens in Washington, it's worth covering.
