I don't have a problem with decriminalizing jaywalking.
My own city has lowered speed limits to 20mph in neighborhoods, 25mph on main roads, for pedestrian safety, and pedestrian deaths have increased. They added a pedestrian right of way law that is so poorly understood by most people that some pedestrians will walk out in from of cars expecting a 1000+ pounds of steel to stop on a dime. The stupidity of this is mind boggling.
