Rep Denver Riggleman, R, VA - We got the email asking us to sign on to the amicus brief, and the two things I saw in there were number one, a veiled threat, there was gonna be a list of those who do not sign on. It was also written in the email that there were these broad strokes that there was fraud across the United States. So when I saw this I looked at the percentages, you know my background is an intelligence officer, when I saw that the legal team for Trump had a 1-56 record, 1.7%, and that was the baseline for the Texas AG suit, I thought this isn’t going anywhere and it really is based on disinformation. I don’t really have a great analogy for a record that bad in history, looking back, at a record that bad, other than maybe the Washington Generals getting beat by the Harlem Globetrotters. When you look at the percentages and the background, and my background, this thing didn’t have a chance in Hell.

The minute he mentioned the Harlem Globetrotters, "Sweet Georgia Brown" started playing in my head. The whistled version.
It took being a "foemer intelligence angent" to see this Texas lawsuit as utterly doomed? Wow. Just, wow.
