'...a decent day's wage for a decent day's work.'

In the pamphlet Wages, Price and Profit, Marx demonstrated the fallacy of “a fair day’s wage for a fair day’s work”.

“Instead of the conservative motto ‘A fair day’s wage for a fair day’s work!’ (Workers) ought to inscribe on their banner the revolutionary watchword. ‘Abolition of the wages system!’.”

'...the democratic socialist Nordic countries...'.
The term democratic socialist is a tautological misnomer.

Norway's government is a coalition of the right-wing between the Conservatives, Progress and Liberal parties. With regard to Sweden, what Mr Anderson says is relevant: "I understand that progressive people see Sweden as a “socialist” country, but the fact is that Sweden is a capitalistic country where three families in Sweden own more than 4 million Swedes and over 90% of industrial production is owned by private interests. Sweden is a member of and supports the European Union" (Erik Anderson, a member of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party in Sweden and an elected city council member in his hometown of Gislaved, interview, Orinoco Tribune, 26 February, 2019). Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said that while he's flattered to see Denmark discussed in a widely-watched US presidential debate he doesn't think the socialist shoe fits. "I know that some people in the US associate the Nordic model with some sort of socialism," he said, "therefore I would like to make one thing clear. Denmark is far from a socialist planned economy. Denmark is a market economy."
