Word: Raising the minimum wage

Bernie Sanders  Here's a fact you don't hear too often: Half of America’s workers make less than $19 an hour. When we double the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $15, we'll boost pay up the income ladder. That means workers making above $15 an hour—11.6 million of them—will also get raises.
