What will happen when tRump can't even fake it enough to look like he's president? If his behavior is any indication, tRump's cognitive decline has become blatantly obvious and is accelerating. In 9-10 months until the conventions, how much worse will he get? Who will run as the GOP candidate if tRump is unable to finish the campaign? I'm sure the GOP will pick a corrupt toady, but it will be a corrupt toady who has not spent the past 9-10 months building interest in the election. This is a fatal mistake for the GOP in 2020. If the cognitive decline tRump has been showing of late continues, will he even be able to make it to the cross party debates?
I can't say I feel sorry for the GOP, but it's really interesting to watch how they are painting themselves into a corner.
