Pentagon says 71% of 17-24 year olds unfit for military service

Military Times -According to the Pentagon, 71 percent of Americans age 17 to 24 are ineligible to join the military, primarily because they are too overweight or too poorly educated, or they have a record of serious crime or drug abuse.

“The obesity issue is the most troubling because the trend is going in the wrong direction,” said then-Maj. Gen. Allen Batschelet, the commanding general of Army Recruiting Command, in 2015. “We think by 2020 it could be as high as 50 percent, which means only 2 in 10 would qualify to join the Army.”

Perhaps they'll do what they did when they were having major trouble finding enough people for their special-aptitude intelligence operations: they waived in gay men and lesbians, the under- and overweight, the self-educated, and even some non-citizens (if from "safe" countries). If you had the IQ, passed aptitude testing, weren't an ax murderer, and were willing to sign up without knowing what you'd be doing, you were in.

Or maybe they'll decide to stop the imperialist adventurism.
