Divide opens on tax fairness

Pew Research -Two years ago, Republicans and Democrats had similar views of the fairness of the tax system. Today, Republicans are twice as likely as Democrats to see the tax system as fair, and this gap is even larger among higher-income Republicans and Democrats. Also, Democrats are now 41 points more likely than Republicans to say the economy unfairly favors powerful interests.
