The cow toilet is a clever idea, but it only takes care of half the problem. What of the manure?
Will the manure in the barn be gathered up and put in a methane digester, so that usable natural gas can be produced? That natural gas could be used to fuel a generator and make the farm self sufficient in electricity with possibly an excess of power that could be sold to the local utility. Why is using methane digesters not even discussed as a solution for animal wastes from large operations?
