We have previously noted that half of the population lives in nine states, which means that they have only 18 senators - or 7 less than if the Senate was truly reflective of the nation. Now Dave Wasserman offers some more stats:
24 most populous states: 82% of the U.S. population, 48% of the Senate. 28 Dems, 20 Reps 26 least populous states: 18% of the U.S. population, 52% of the Senate. 31 Reps, 19 Dems, 2 Inds
