Just wondering
Given the US position on Jerusalem, should we give our capital city back to native Americans?

Different situation altogether.
The Americans were dispossessed before 1946, making the theft of their land despicable but legal. As much as possible, the theft and near-genocide should be compensated since the theft can probably not be undone (the genocide certainly can't).
The Zionists who stole Palestine did so after 1946, when taking land by force was made the ne-plus-ultra international crime. Many of the Zionists' victims still live, still even have the keys to their demolished houses and photos of their land. That sociocidal theft can be undone, at least in part, and, ethically, must be.
