A US judge has temporarily blocked a Mississippi state law enacting the tightest
restrictions on abortion in the country a day after it was signed.
Researchers concluded that factors such as lower fuel costs, increased teleworking, higher car ownership and the rise of alternatives such as Uber and Lyft are pulling people off trains and buses at record levels.

You would never guess that, from the extremely crowded and overburdened transit system in my city. Nearly every bus is so full that it's packed standing room only even at off hours, and busses routinely leave passengers waiting for the "next bus" sometimes more then once. I guess it's an indicator of how expensive living here is.
