Bipartisan Senate bill would ban paperless voting machines

Ars Technica - A bipartisan group of six senators has introduced legislation that would take a huge step toward securing elections in the United States. Called the Secure Elections Act, the bill aims to eliminate insecure paperless voting machines from American elections while promoting routine audits that would dramatically reduce the danger of interference from foreign governments.

If any congress critter was serious about reducing danger from interference in USA affairs by a foreign government, AIPAC would have been outlawed a long time ago. The joke is on the voters once again with this bill.

Paperless voting is a distinctly dangerous thing. I am very glad that RI has paper ballots.
