Where was this analysis when ACA was being drawn up, also behind doors and more or less in secret? You make it seem as if the public is about lose something worthwhile whereas the truth of the matter is quite different. A lot of folks faced severe financial hardship with the so-called mandate which required them to purchase products they could not afford to use, so regardless what happens it's really not going to make much much difference in the real world. Anything less than universal single payer is a sham.
