Some Trump supporters to avoid

New Balance is one of the last of the American brand name shoe companies to actually manufacture shoes in the United States. For years we have supported that brand due to that fact. You'd rather we support someone like Phil Knight and his reputed connection to alleged sweatshops?
What the fuck, Sam? Clinton & Co. facilitated the demise of the US working class, yet somehow you perceive that as less evil. Unbelievable. Hillary deserved to lose, the country IS better off for it. Time to shuck the neolibral bullshit aside. Unless the Democrats figure that out they're destined to go the way of the Whigs.
I'd strongly suggest that instead of endorsing actions that will only serve to jeopardized those few jobs American working class souls can still find, we instead, direct our efforts to building and supporting a viable third party alternative. That can never happen so long as folks like you refuse to help them present their case to the broader public.

And what are we to make of this:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-11-18/trump-says-ford-called-to-say-keeping-lincoln-plant-in-kentucky
"So were Trump’s tweets that there would be “no Mexico” because he “worked hard with Bill Ford to keep the Lincoln plant in Kentucky” misleading?
'I’ll let each individual reach their own conclusions, but the true answer should be clear to anyone,' Dunn said in an interview. 'What is important is the transparency between Ford Motor Co. and the UAW. We’re doing a good job and that wasn’t decided in an overnight tweet.' "

"'We had planned to move the Lincoln MKC out of Louisville Assembly Plant,' Christin Baker, a Ford spokeswoman, said in an e-mail, noting the UAW contract signed last year allowed for such a move. 'Cuautitlan plant in Mexico was likely the plant for MKC.' "

Draw our own conclusions---seems evident that pressure from Trump must have had some effect. An perative question, would this had been the case had Hillary been victorious November 8th? Guessing not, but skepticism is my nature.

We are looking at the end of a generation's worth of cheap-labor policy. This included encouraging off-shoring as well as large numbers of labor visas and encouraging illegal immigration. It doesn't take much to produce a labor surplus to drive down wages and intimidate the workers.

The cheap-labor policy was promoted by both parties, the chamber of commerce, wall street, silicon valley executives, and lots more. And it lead to a massive shift of wealth upwards. HRC was absolutely in the middle of this coalition - and supported by it.

Trump's election will go down as one of the greatest victories for labor.

"Trump's election will go down as one of the greatest victories for labor."

Do you really honestly believe Trump will be a friend to labor? His history suggests that won't be the case. If you think Trump will "end of a generation's worth of cheap-labor policy", you are in for a big disappointment. Trump has a long history of union busting, refusing to pay overtime and minimum wage, not paying contractors, not honoring union contracts, and 24 for his businesses being ruled by the National Labor Relations Board as engaged in unfair labor practices.
Trump won't do anything for labor, though I pale to think of what he will DO TO labor.

Trump has repeatedly lied to the populace, breaking most of his "election promises" within day of the election. Trump's plan for business is to remove regulations and quash environmental laws. Workers under Trump will lose federal protections, and will have to rely on their states for any meaningful labor protections at all. Labor has a few difficult years ahead of it thanks to Trump.

And one must ask, since Clinton is 1.6 million votes ahead, did Trump really win the election? The exit polls in 4 swing states were quite different from the actual vote tallies, in other countries this would be an alert that rigging may be happening, but in the US it gets swept under the rug.
