There may be a deeper level statistic overlooked in this. Why question merely the ratio of black to white police killings? How about some comparative analysis of total police shootings/killings of all subjects over time. One suspects that there has been a general overall increase in police violence against citizens of all types over time. The situation for blacks is perhaps the most overt, but what of that for Latinos, Asians, the underclasses on the whole?
