After a while even the most egregious propaganda finds fertile ground. The drum beat of environmentalists hurting the economy has been beaten into the American public for years. Despite the fact that it is totally untrue. We are victims of the same messengers about climate, justice, Black Lives Matter, the war machine, the economy. Sometimes the big lie holds the cards. Look at the struggles over building new fossil fuel infrastructure. Even Senators noted for fighting global warming voted for a bill to make it easier to railroad communities. The Big Lie marches on. The Resistance grows.
