Green Party - Green Party Press Secretary, Scott McLarty, got a call yesterday from USA Today.
Seems that “The Donald”, AKA Mr. Trump, is contemplating a 3rd party bid.
USA Today’s reporter wanted to know what it would take (because, of course, why would a political reporter from the mainstream press know anything at all about getting ballot access outside of our current duopoly?)
Scott answered the technical questions, then was gobsmacked when asked what we’d think of La Donald becoming the Green Party US candidate for president.
After a moment of stunned silence, Scott said, “He’d be laughed out of the room.”
