Adam Schiff - Investigators in my
office uncovered the contracts behind the banners of Donald Trump’s face now
hanging on federal buildings across Washington — the largest of them eight
stories tall at the Department of Health and Human Services, with “America
First” printed beside it: Here’s what we uncovered:
The American people paid for
every inch of it, and we have the receipts. $114,000 from the FAA. $39,000 from
Interior. A third check from the Labor Department. The list goes on
and on.
Congress long ago outlawed
spending taxpayer dollars on propaganda and self‑aggrandizement, and an eight‑story‑high
Donald Trump head certainly qualifies.
Because I spent years as a
federal prosecutor, and I know a pattern of intent when I see one. In every
country where democracy gave way to one man, the faces went up on the
government buildings first. Not as decoration, and not even as vanity — but to
teach the people who paid for those buildings a simple lesson: all of this
belongs to him now.
And yet not one of those
buildings belongs to Donald Trump. They belong to the American people, to the
taxpayers who funded them. We were never asked, and we do not have to
accept it.
Alternet
- US President Donald Trump pledged
on Wednesday to send every American adult a $5,000 check if Republicans keep
control of Congress in the upcoming midterm
elections, a promise that was widely seen as a desperate ploy to distract
from a flagging economy and the destructive impacts of the
Iran war.
“If the Republicans win, you win
with us and you get $5,000,” Trump declared in his address to the GOP’s midterm
convention in Dallas. The president, who recently railed against Medicare for
All as too costly, called his proposed payment “the Trump
Dividend,” but did not mention its potential price tag. Snap
estimates indicate the checks, which would require congressional
approval, would likely cost more than $1.3 trillion—close to the size of the
discretionary federal budget.‘
Warren Gunnels, staff director
for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.)—the leading Medicare for All champion in
Congress—derided Trump’s promise by comparing it to other campaign pledges that
have not materialized.

Trump is simply a criminal offering bribes to American voters. And of course you know those bribes will never be paid, so he is really just a con artist . A murderous con artist
