Polls

Independent - A growing number of Americans now identify as Democrats, a shift that presents fresh political headwinds for President Donald Trump and the Republican party ahead of the November midterms, according to a new poll. The latest Gallup data shows 31 percent of U.S. adults identified as Democrats in the second quarter of 2026, compared with 25 percent who identify as Republicans. That six-point advantage is the largest Democratic lead in party identification in more than a decade.

MS NOW - new poll from Gallup finds that “Americans’ perceptions of government corruption in the U.S. are at their highest level in 20 years, with 89% of U.S. adults saying it is widespread.” 91% of Democrats, 90% of independents and even 83% of Republicans agreed with that assessment.
