Drop Site  - U.S. diesel prices hit record high above $6.30 a gallon: Average U.S. diesel prices rose to a record $6.31 per gallon on Wednesday, according to the American Automobile Association, surpassing Tuesday’s record of $6.27 and the previous historic high of about $5.82 set in 2022. Diesel averaged below $3.50 a gallon at the start of last year but has surged alongside global oil prices.
