Newsworthy News - Fast-moving wildfires in British Columbia forced more than 20,000 people from their homes and pushed the province into a state of emergency. Officials said the Bald Range wildfire spread fast along Okanagan Lake and reached several towns in hours. Summerland, home to about 12,000 people, was ordered evacuated, along with about 8,000 people in and around Peachland…British Columbia already had more than 100 wildfires burning, with many still out of control in hot, windy, dry weather.
