MS NOW -  Last night MS NOW’s Lawrence O’Donnell highlighted the case of Liam Tadeo, a five-year-old boy detained with his father by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Texas on August 16 as they were on their way to a soccer game and taken to the Dilley detention camp. Representative Greg Casar explained how ICE now routinely uses children as leverage to make parents turn themselves in or self-deport. And sure enough in this case, reports an ABC affiliate in Arizona, the father agreed for himself and Liam to be deported. The Marshall Project estimates that ICE has detained more than 6,000 children so far in Trump’s second term.
