This might be someone they grew up with, or someone who shares an aspect of their identity or religious beliefs. How connected do Black Americans feel to Black people outside their family networks?Pew Research - One-in-ten U.S. adults is a caregiver for a parent age 65 or older, and 3% provide care for a spouse or partner 65 or older. Among those with an aging family member, women and adults with lower incomes are particularly likely to be caregivers.
