Minnesota

The Hill - President Trump’s border czar Tom Homan said Wednesday that around 700 federal law enforcement personnel will leave Minnesota amid uproar over the aggressive immigration crackdown in the state.

But he was quick to underscore that the administration remains committed to Trump’s mass deportation agenda. There were roughly 3,000 federal immigration officers in the state as of late last month.

“If you are in the country illegally, you are not off the table,” Homan said at a Wednesday press conference in Minneapolis. “Let me be clear: President Trump fully intends to achieve mass deportations during this administration, and immigration enforcement actions will continue every day throughout this country.”
