People- After "major combat operations" were launched against Iran, the country retaliated against numerous U.S. military facilities in the Middle East, The Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, Al-Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were targeted, as well as the U.S. naval base in Bahrain, the U.S. base in northern Iraq and the Muwaffaq Al-Salti Air Base in Jordan
