Pew Research - The earliest recorded edit to Wikipedia was logged on Jan. 15, 2001. Since then, the online encyclopedia has grown to include 66 million articles in more than 300 languages. Wikipedia articles have been viewed a total of 1.9 trillion times over the past decade, averaging about 508 million views per day.
