Newsweek Nearly seven in 10 Medicare recipients would drop their health care plans if they experience price increases, according to a new poll of about 1,000 patients conducted by SeniorLiving.org. Nearly 70 million Americans rely on Medicare for health insurance, with roughly half on Medicare Advantage, or privatized Medicare plans run by health insurers.

Nearly seven-in-ten Americans (69%) say President Donald Trump is trying to exert more power than his predecessors – and far more see this as bad for the country than good. Over six-in-ten think Trump has improperly used his office to punish people who say things he doesn’t like, with 90% of Democrats and 42% of Republicans holding this view. 

Among parents with kids ages 12 and younger, majorities say their child uses a tablet (68%) or a smartphone (61%), with TV the most common screen of all (90%). About four-in-ten parents see managing their kids’ screen time as a top priority day-to-day, though an identical share feel that they could be doing a better job.
