Working families pay an effective tax rate that is 4x higher than the average billionaire’s.
The biggest source of income for the ultra-rich—the increase in value of investments they don’t sell—is never taxed at all.
Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” made things even worse, giving trillions in tax breaks to corporations, billionaires, and millionaires.

It’s not fair that a billionaire can pay a lower tax rate than a public school teacher.
